In a city as fast-paced as Hong Kong, the traditional “24-hour” hotel stay often feels rigid and outdated. We partnered with Flow HK to produce a strategic B2B promotional video. The objective was to speak directly to hotel owners and management, illustrating the immense, often overlooked potential of day-use room inventory.
In an industry where unsold rooms during daylight hours is a constant challenge, this video serves as a compelling case for the “space-on-demand” model. We aimed to show hotels that their rooms aren’t just for overnight stays—they are versatile assets that cater to the evolving needs of the modern urbanite.
The narrative of the video focuses on the “Why” behind hourly bookings. We highlighted four key demographics that are actively seeking short-term spaces, proving that the demand is both diverse and consistent:
- The Urban Couple: Seeking a private, upscale staycation escape for a few hours of quality time.
- The Digital Nomad & Freelancer: Professionals looking for a quiet, premium alternative to crowded coffee shops to focus on deep work.
- The Modern Family: Parents needing a base camp for a few hours to let children rest or freshen up between city activities.
- Social Circles: Friends looking for a comfortable, private suite to gather and relax before an evening event.
